Enjoy relaxing days with us at the family-run Adler on the Fohrenbühl pass between Hornberg and Schramberg – a truly unique spot in the central Black Forest.
Fragrant meadows, quiet, untouched forests, a network of paths for everyone, wonderful views and sunny benches await you! Thanks to its central location, you can reach almost all the beautiful destinations in the Black Forest, the Europapark and Alsace.
Built in the 18th century and owned by the Moosmann family since 1780, “Der Adler” on the Fohrenbühl is a popular excursion and recreation destination for everyone.

The rooms are available from 3 pm. Please vacate your room by 11 a.m. at the latest on your day of departure.
We are happy to welcome our guests at the new reception.
Parking spaces and garage
We have sufficient outdoor parking spaces for cars and coaches.
We provide a lockable garage for hotel guests with a motorcycle. These services are free of charge.
WLAN network is free of charge and is easily accessible throughout the house. All rooms can be dialed by telephone from outside. Faxes can be handed in and received at reception.
Restaurant or sun terrace. A play corner is available in the guest room and for our very little ones there is a nappy-changing facility as well as a diaper bucket, bathtub and baby monitor to borrow.
Our rooms and our restaurant are non-smoking. However, we have set up a cozy “Eckle” especially for our smokers.
Our free use of bus and train during your stay.
With your Black Forest guest card (spa card) you can use buses and trains free of charge during your stay (except for IC and ICE connections and the use of mountain railroads). The KONUS guest card is valid as a ticket within and between the following transport associations: Ortenau, Rottweil, Freiburg, Schwarzwald-Baar, Lörrach and Waldshut.

Valuables can be deposited in our hotel safe at reception. We are liable within the scope of the statutory provisions.
Sunday evening, as well as Monday & Tuesday all day we have a break in our restaurant.
Arrivals and departures as well as breakfast for our hotel guests are excluded. There are other restaurants in the immediate vicinity which are open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
There are over 80 sights and excursion destinations in our vacation region. We have a brochure ready for you.
Guests staying 2 nights or more receive the GutachtalCard. You can use 14+1 vouchers for one-off free or reduced admission, e.g. toboggan run, open-air museum, open-air stage, minigolf, glassworks and much more. use.

Tourist information awaits you in the town centers of Lauterbach, Schramberg or Hornberg.
